Chest Tube Procedures:

• Not competent. I have only done two. Would hope to be competent after 5-10

Airway Management:

• Not competent. greater then 25

General Bronchoscopy:

• Still working to master the anatomy and technique of manipulating bronchoscope

Complex Airway Procedures:

• Still not completely comfortable with intubation

Pleural Procedures:

• Comfortable with thoras, however still need more experience with placing chest tubes

Have not performed any advanced broncs

Professionalism:

• Could be more active with following up outpatient/clinic results/issues

Areas of weakness:

• Performance of bronchoscopy and pleural procedures

• Bedside US

• Comfort level making complex decisions without attending

• Diagnosis and management of ILD

How will you improve:

• Will be more aggressive with performing bedside US on the majority of admits to TLC (not just those with a specific question)

• Leading rounds in TLC when the opportunity presents itself

• Spend more time reading literature and guidelines concerning ILD management

What are your strengths:

• Taking time to teach residents when opportunity presents itself. Comfortable with basic procedures such as line placement/thoras/paras
